Meghan Parks

Meghan Parks, a senior enrolled in the Physical Education Teacher Licensure Program, has been selected by MAHPERD (Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance) as a recipient of one of the five 2016 MAHPERD Outstanding Future Professional awards. These students have demonstrated dedication to the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance profession and have made significant contributions to their college and community. These outstanding students will be recognized Sunday, April 10th, at the MAHPERD annual awards banquet.

Baroness Campbell

The School of Sport Science congratulates Baroness Sue Campbell on her appointment as head of Women’s Football at The Football Association. Baroness Sue Campbell earned her honorary doctorate at Endicott College and was the commencement speaker at the 71st commencement in 2011.

Girls Active Camp

Six Endicott School of Sport Science students spent a week in England this spring to volunteer as peer mentors at the Youth Sport Trust Inclusive Futures Camp and Girls Active Camp held at Loughborough University. The School of Sport Science has worked in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust for a number of years whose mission is to build a brighter future for young people through high quality physical education and sport.

Endicott Programs Awarded Maximum Accreditation by COSMA

Endicott College is proud to announce that on February 12, 2015 the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA) Board of Commissioners awarded maximum accreditation for the Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and the Master of Education degree in Athletic Administration. The Endicott programs achieved accredited status following an intensive process that included completion of a candidacy program, completion and review of an institutional self-study, site visit by accreditation team, final approval by the COSMA Board of Commissioners and submission of annual reports. The organization determined that Endicott should receive recognition for a seven-year period, through February 2022.
