Gulls Go Big in Japan on Career-Defining Journey
Kelly O’Donnell ’24 and Olivia Cafarelli ’25 were part of a group of Gulls that embarked on a dream trip to Japan, funded by a Freeman Foundation grant. They engaged in culturally immersive internships, tackling real-world business challenges with Japanese organizations, enriching their academic journeys, and solidifying their professional aspirations.

Students in Ethan Boldt’s criminal justice classes are examining the U.S. court system in a highly unconventional way—by studying the Michael Peterson murder case and binge-watching all 13 episodes of the Netflix series The Staircase. (Popcorn is recommended, but not required.)
