Digital Media Digital Filmmaking Concentration

  • Program Overview

In digital filmmaking you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative, technical, and business aspects of delivering content across a variety of media platforms.

Endicott’s Digital Media Program places an emphasis on developing the skills required to achieve effective storytelling by using both journalism and film. You’ll learn methods and tools to effectively develop, create, and portray unique stories.

When you select digital media as your major, you have the choice of two areas of concentration—digital filmmaking and digital journalism, which offer courses in writing and interviewing and applied production skills.

Both concentrations provide an opportunity for you to learn how to tell a compelling story through digital platforms while learning to develop your own distinct voice.

In the digital filmmaking concentration, you’ll get hands on learning experiences both in front of and behind the lens while learning how to aesthetically create and tell a story.
