Endicott College will host the Massachusetts School Administrators Association (MSAA) Fall Esports State Championships on Saturday, December 13, in the Endicott Esports Lab.

This is the first time Endicott has hosted Massachusetts’ premier high school esports state championship, in conjunction with PlayVS. The MSAA will be crowning champions in Mario Kart, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

“The MSAA is excited to be collaborating with Endicott College to hold our Fall 2025 MSAA Esports Championships,” said MSAA Executive Director Richard Pearson. “The staff at Endicott College has been great to work with as we plan an exciting event for many Massachusetts high school teams. Getting to the state semi-finals and finals is an exciting moment for our esports athletes, something they have worked toward throughout the fall. The campus and facilities will provide a welcoming location with numerous resources to celebrate the success of our teams.

“Endicott College’s efforts to advance esports in Massachusetts have created positive energy for enthusiasts. Having the MSAA partner with a collegiate esports leader like Endicott College values the efforts of MSAA students and allows them to experience firsthand the next level of esports participation beyond high school,” Pearson added.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the MSAA and the top high school teams in Massachusetts to Endicott for this year’s state championships,” said Brendan Hall, Esports Coordinator at Endicott College. “This event is a celebration of the incredible growth of esports across the state and a chance for these students to experience a collegiate environment built around teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. We’re proud to showcase our new Esports Lab and give these players a glimpse into what’s possible at the next level.”

Each semifinal and final will be streamed live on Endicott’s Twitch channel for viewers to follow along.

Opened in September 2024, the Endicott Esports Lab sits in the heart of the Callahan Center—Endicott’s bustling student center—and features more than a dozen state-of-the-art gaming PCs, console stations, and a dedicated broadcasting space for live matches and streaming. The new lab quickly became a vibrant gathering spot for both competitive and recreational players and serves as the headquarters for the College’s growing esports teams.

Endicott College is pleased to announce it will be hosting the Massachusetts School Administrators Association (MSAA) Fall Esports State Championships on Saturday, December 13, in the Endicott Esports Lab.

Endicott entered the esports arena in 2019, first offering courses in esports management before expanding to a minor and, most recently, a Bachelor of Science in Esports Management. Based in the School of Sport Science, the degree combines computer science, traditional sports-management coursework, and defining internships that embody the Endicott Experiential Edge, the College’s hands-on learning model that connects classroom study with real-world application.
