Patrick C. Hewett has been appointed Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Endicott College, announced today by College President Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D. Hewett formerly served as Vice President for Advancement at Catholic Charities of Boston, one of the largest social service agencies in Massachusetts, where he led teams responsible for raising more than $10 million annually and executing the organization’s marketing and communications plan.

“Exciting times are ahead as we acknowledge the importance of advancement to this institution’s future, building upon our strong foundation by enacting the strategic plan and comprehensive capital campaign,” says DiSalvo. “We believe Pat will help us achieve our vision.”

Prior to his post at Catholic Charities, Hewett served as Director of Leadership Gifts at Boston University; his tenure took place during BU’s first-ever capital campaign which successfully surpassed its $1.5 billion goal, ultimately raising more than $1.8 billion. Prior positions were at Middlesex School in Concord, Mass. and Rhode Island’s Portsmouth Abbey School.

“The Endicott College story is powerful and motivating,” says Hewett. “I am excited to join President DiSalvo, the Board of Trustees, and the talented staff there whose hard work and vision have contributed to the College’s remarkable trajectory. I also look forward to working alongside the alumni, parents, and friends whose dedication and generosity have fueled such remarkable growth and progress.”

Hewett holds a degree in business administration from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., and resides in Milton, Mass., with his wife Maura and their four children.
