FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – More than 200 people are expected to return to Endicott College when it hosts its annual Reunion Weekend June 7-9 on its scenic oceanside campus in Beverly, Mass. Among those in attendance will be Peabody, Mass., resident Kerry (Taylor) MacDonald, recipient of this year’s Eleanor Tupper Award, and Gloucester, Mass., resident Alisa (Kriekis) de Gaspe Beaubien, recipient of this year’s Outstanding Alumni Award. The awards are given annually to those who exemplify the college motto of “excellence, consecration, and service.”

MacDonald, a 2010 Endicott graduate, is an associate finance manager at Electric Insurance Company in Beverly, where she has mentored several Endicott interns and recent graduates. The Eleanor Tupper Award is named after Endicott’s co-founder, who established the College on the idea—a radical notion in 1939—that women “should have the opportunity to rise above housework” and “should be educated for opportunities equal to those of men.”

De Gaspe Beaubien graduated from Endicott in 1994, a member of the last graduating class that was not coed, and is chief operations officer at Groupize, a travel and technology company. She has served on the Endicott College Alumni Council for a decade, including four years as president and as a trustee.

“Endicott has such an amazing group of alumni, many more of whom are worthy of such recognition,” says Tory Pilbin, director of alumni relations. “We cannot wait to welcome everyone back to campus for this weekend that really feels more like a family reunion.”

Reunion Weekend will include an alumni art exhibition that is free and open to the public with a reception at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 7—the opening day of Alumni Weekend—in Endicott’s Spencer Presentation Gallery within the Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts. The exhibit, which will be on display through September 25, features artwork from 10 brand new alumni from the Class of 2019. More information about all of the weekend’s events is available at Endicott.edu/reunion.
