FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Organized by Endicott College students, the public is invited to participate in an all-night fundraising event which aims to raise $50,000 for the American Cancer Society:

15th Annual Relay for Life
Friday, March 29 at 5 p.m. – Saturday, March 30 at 5 a.m.
Post Sport Science & Fitness Center at Endicott College
376 Hale St.
Beverly, MA 01915

With a board games theme, the 15th annual Relay for Life will feature fun activities, food, music, and games while also honoring cancer survivors and those who lost their lives or loved ones to cancer. If you are interested in participating, $20 online registration is now available at relayforlife.org/endicott (in-person registration at the door will be $25). Those who would like to support the cause can also make a donation via relayforlife.org/endicott.

“I've had several family members and friends suffer from cancer, and some unfortunately lost the battle,” says Endicott student Kelsey O’Keefe, one of the event’s senior organizers. “Relay is our way of being able to give back and help those in need, which is very close to my heart.”

Students and supporters will keep themselves awake with dodgeball, trivia, and a “Captain Relay” competition consisting of wacky challenges. Country music station 101.7-FM “The Bull” will be on hand, and food will be provided by Panera Bread, Prides Deli and Pizzeria, Domino’s, and Sodexo. There will also be raffle drawings with items donated by many local businesses, such as The Castle, En Fuego Cocina Mexicana, Tartine, and Worthy Girl.

The night will also include a luminaria memorial in which students and supporters will line Endicott’s field house with lighted bags to pay tribute to those who lost their lives to cancer. Parking for cancer survivors and their families is available on campus at the Post Center.
