The “Fridays in the Rose” series at Endicott College is designed to give audiences a taste of the sublime in just enough time to listen and grab a bite during lunch hour! On Friday, April 27, 2018 at noon, Endicott percussion instructor George Darrah and his band will warm up the room with some hot jazz. Darrah studied at Eastman School of Music and the University of Tampa, where he played for President Obama. He won a DownBeat Magazine award while at Eastman.

Darrah studied with Bill Dobbins, Harold Danko, and Dave Rivello, and has played with the likes of Bucky Pizzarelli, Dave Liebman, and Dick Johnson. Darrah is also a composer and arranger.

The concert is free and will be held in the Rose Performance Hall in the Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts at Endicott College, 376 Hale St., Beverly, MA. A light appetizer reception will follow. For more information, please contact Becca Kenneally at (978) 232-2397, rkenneal@endicott.edu.
