Endicott College to Host E-Cubed Entrepreneurship Expo and Screening of ‘She Started It’ Documentary on Female Innovators

March 29, 2017

On April 11, area start-ups, entrepreneurs, and related innovative companies will gather at Endicott College for what has become the region’s go-to annual event for entrepreneurs.Nora Poggi

Co-sponsored by the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship and FUEL, the College’s student venture accelerator program, E-Cubed!, Endicott’s Expo for Entrepreneurs, is building on the success of last year’s event to bring together members of the North Shore’s startup community. The Expo will be hosting science startups, business incubators, technology firms, small business consultants, integrated health entrepreneurs and local craftspeople.

In addition to the Expo, there will be the exclusive regional film premiere of the nationally-acclaimed documentary ‘She Started It’, followed by a panel of innovative business women speaking about what it is like to bring a service or product to market. The film follows five entrepreneurs over two years and calls for more female role models in entrepreneurial spaces. Appearing to introduce the film and take part in the panel is Nora Poggi, the film’s producer and noted TED Talk speaker. See the official trailer for ‘She Started It’ here.

“The Expo has been a great way for entrepreneurs to connect,” said Michael Paige, Dean of the Endicott College School of Business. “We’ve worked hard to keep an intimate feel for the program. The Expo is an important way for our attendees to network with one another. Innovation of all sorts happens in our region - Endicott wants to support those entrepreneurs who are innovating.”

Both events are free. The Entrepreneurship Expo is from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Endicott College Life Science and Business building; ‘She Started It’ will screen at 6:00 p.m. in the Endicott College Wax Auditorium.
