April 7, 2016 – Endicott College will be hosting two events to celebrate Earth Day. On the College will host a panel discussion titled,“Decarbonizing the Grid” and on the College will be holding a bike drive. The public is invited to participate in both events.
The 7th Annual Endicott Environmental Society Energy Summit will be held on Mike Giaimo External/Legislative Affairs, ISO New England; Paul Gallant Shift Operations Manager at Entergy Corporation; and Dr. Matthew Staffier, Professor of Chemistry and Environmental Science at Endicott College. The moderator will be Dr. Mari Butler Professor of Environmental Science at Endicott. The event is free and open to the public. Also in celebration of Earth Day, the College is participating in a bike drive by asking the public to donate used bikes to Bikes Not Bombs, a Boston based non-profit organization. All types of bikes (no tricycles) and sizes as well as accessories and parts are welcome.
