Endicott Student Invitational Exhibition 2015

The Student Invitational Exhibition 2015 consists of 62 works of art created by students from the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Endicott College, 376 Hale Street, Beverly.  The exhibition is on display now through April 27, 2015.  Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Saturday & Sunday, 2 – 4 p.m.  The exhibit is free and open to the public.

 Faculty who teach studio courses at the School of Visual and Performing Arts have invited 2 students from each of their courses to exhibit, and awards were chosen by faculty and a popular choice award chosen by the students.  This year’s winners are:  First Place Award: Abby Hoffman, 2015BFA Graphic Design, from Minnesota Second Place a Two way tie:  Arturo Camacho, 2016, BFA Studio Art – Intermedia, from Mexico; and Amanda Mersereau, 2016, BFA Interior Design, New Hampshire;  Third Place a two way tie: Hannah Lee Smith, 2018BFA Studio Art 2 D, Connecticut, and Alison Barker, 2018,BFA Studio, Massachusetts; and the Popular Choice:  Suzanna Newman, 2016, BFA Art Therapy, Massachusetts.  The artwork in this exhibition includes a wide variety of medium.  Paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, graphic design, textile design, chip board sculpture, handmade books, video, just to name a few.

Academic programs in the Visual and Performing Arts include the Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in: Art Therapy, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fifth Year Master of Arts in Interior Design, Photography, Studio Art with concentrations in: 2-D: Painting Drawing, Printmaking, 3-D: Ceramics, Sculpture, Installation, Intermedia: Mixed Media, Installation Art Education with Teacher Licensure. Students can minor in Arts Administration, Art History, Art Therapy, Dance, Graphic Design, Music, Photography, Studio Art, and Theater

The School of Visual and Performing Arts at Endicott College is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design; Interior Design Department is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.
