Guest Policy and Pre-registration

Guests of Endicott students, faculty, and staff need to be registered at the Public Safety Center upon their arrival on campus. It is the responsibility of the host to make sure their guests are registered. Upon arrival to campus, guests will receive a guest pass and visitor parking permit at the Public Safety Center.

All Community members are to be accountable for the conduct of their guests. All students, and their guests, are expected to be aware of, and abide by, this Student Code of Conduct (“Code”).Endicott College’s Guest Policy has been established to ensure a comfortable and safe community environment on campus and in the residence halls. A foundation of Endicott’s Guest Policy is that guests (both current students who do not reside in the same room as the host as well as off campus guests) are only permitted with the consent of a resident’s roommate(s). Residence Life staff and Endicott College Police will address any behavior that jeopardizes the well-being and comfort of roommates. The following bullets delineate some of the Guest Policy rules, restrictions, and procedures that apply to resident students hosting guests: (for full Guest Policy rules see the Student Handbook).

  • Non-students are required to obtain a visitor badge and/or parking pass at the Public Safety Center.  A valid driver's license or state-issued ID is required to check in.
  • Students are only allowed to sign in two (2) non-Endicott guests at a time, including overnight guests.
  • Off-campus guests and resident students visiting in a residence hall not their own must sign into the building in the presence of the host when desk attendants are present. If a guest cannot produce their visitor badge or a non-resident student their Gull Card ID, they will be denied access to the building.

How to pre-register guests:

To facilitate a speedy check-in process, Endicott Community Members have the ability to pre-register their guests.  While pre-registration is strongly recommended, it is not mandatory, and Community Members can still sign in their guests at the Public Safety Center without having pre-registered them first.

Click here to access the Endicott College Visitor Registration System. This can also be accessed through your OKTA homepage.

Please note that the new Endicott College Visitor System requires multi-factor authentication and you will be required to login through OKTA to verify your credentials here at the college.

To pre-register your guest:

  1. Once logged in with your Endicott credentials, please click "Invite Guest" in the top left corner. Please enter your guest's information, including their email and cell phone number.
  2. At the bottom of the form, you may select either elapsed time or specific time.
  3. Click "create invitation" to send your guest an email. They will then be prompted to complete the rest of the registration on their end.
  4. Once the guest has completed their end of the registration, they will be able to check in quickly at the Public Safety Office and receive their pass.

If you choose not to utilize the pre-registration system, guests can sign in using the tablet in the Public Safety lobby. When they complete the registration on the tablet, a email will be sent to you (the host) to approve their check in. Once the approval is received, their registration will complete and their pass will print.

If you receive a check-in request from someone you do not know or are not expecting, please reject the request and contact Public Safety at 978-232-2222.
