Over four days, participants will immerse themselves in an intensive creative environment, developing new work, refining their craft, and engaging in thoughtful conversations about writing with accomplished faculty and fellow young storytellers. Sessions explore poetry, fiction, young adult writing, screenwriting, and writing and music, offering opportunities for both emerging and experienced writers to deepen their craft.
The registration cost is $600, which includes all activities, lunch and snacks for all four days, and a t-shirt!
New this year: An optional residential experience allows students to stay overnight on campus, offering a preview of college life while becoming part of a vibrant community of writers. Space is limited.
Students interested in digital, television, and print journalism may also explore Endicott’s Young Journalists Workshop, a companion program focused on reporting, storytelling, and media production.
Participants in the Young Writers Workshop work closely with Endicott’s accomplished faculty to generate new writing, refine works in progress, and develop the skills needed to offer thoughtful feedback to peers. The program also introduces practical strategies for promoting and publishing creative work while fostering a collaborative environment in which students engage with experienced writers and fellow young storytellers.
