Convocation is a tradition that marks the start of the academic year and welcomes new and returning students to Endicott.
This year, all members of the community are requested to join us on Sept. 1 at Hempstead Stadium for a special event: The Inauguration of Bryan Cain, Ph.D., and Convocation 2026.
The event starts promptly at 3:45 p.m. A BBQ will follow the ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
Alyssa Czarnecki, Associate Professor in the School of Sport Science, and recipient of the 2026 Academic Excellence Award, will provide a Convocation address.

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Endicott College will officially inaugurate Bryan Cain, Ph.D., as the College’s eighth president during a special Inauguration & Convocation ceremony that also welcomes the Class of 2030.
