​Digital journalism encompasses traditional print-based news as well as newer media formats like online journalism, social media, podcasts, blogs, and streaming media.

Marketing Communication/Advertising Program BS

Coursework covers all aspects of this complex industry including advertising, public relations, social media, and integrated marketing.

About Communication

With a solid academic background that promotes written and critical-thinking skills, as well as theoretical and applied knowledge, you will leave Endicott with a full toolbox of skills that qualify you for a wide range of professions within the world of communication.

Each day a new technology affects the way we communicate globally. Whether it be web-based streaming content, digital journalism, digital filmmaking, social media marketing and advertising, podcasts or any other form of digital media, the one thing we can count on is change. Through the School of Communication, you will learn the foundational theories of effective communication, then learn how to apply them for maximum impact in a constantly changing media landscape. Majors and concentrations in the school reflect the diversity of the communication field, and our professional faculty will guide you as you learn to create stories and share them through various media. Consistent with the Endicott mission, internships are an integral part of the curriculum. Through multi-level experiences in industry, you will learn how to be fully prepared for your profession.

ECTV, the College’s 24-hour, closed-circuit cable television station and EC Radio are available to showcase student productions. ECTV and EC Radio stream live from the College website.
