Benefactors

Colin and Erika Angle

Colin and Erika Angle have proven their entrepreneurial skills time and time again as they both serve as founders, CEOs and investors in large and impactful companies such as IRobot, and Counterpoint Health Solutions. They serve as inspiration to all of the students who are involved in the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship.

Colin Angle is the Chairman of the Board, CEO, and Co-Founder of iRobot. One of the world’s leading authorities on mobile robots, Angle is an industry pioneer with more than two decades of experience. Under his leadership, iRobot is at the forefront of the growing robot industry, delivering home cleaning and military robots that are making a difference.

Angle’s leadership and vision for the future of robots have been recognized with numerous professional awards. He has been named CEO of the Year by the Mass Technology Leadership Council, a Mass High Tech All-Star, one of Fortune Small Business Magazine’s Best Bosses and New England Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young. Angle is a member of the board of directors at Striiv, Inc. Angle holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in computer science, both from MIT.

Erika Ebbel Angle received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 2012 from Boston University School of Medicine. She holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is the CEO and co-founder of Counterpoint Health Solutions, a biotechnology start-up company aimed at developing diagnostic tests and natural interventions to improve gut microbiome efficacy and prevent neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases.

In 2002 Erika founded Science from Scientists. Erika currently serves on the Massachusetts STEM Council Legislator Education Work Group and the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education STEM Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. In 2014 the Boston Business Journal selected her as one of the “40 Under 40″ business and civic leaders making a major impact in their respective fields in the Boston area.

Erika and Colin continue to inspire entrepreneurship on Endicott College's campus as we emulate their leadership in driving innovation, fostering ingenuity, and creating change in the world.

Gina Deschamps, DBA
Executive Director, Angle Center for Entrepreneurship

Gina Deschamps is the Executive Director and Chair of the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship at Endicott College. With a rich tapestry of experience that blends corporate expertise with entrepreneurial insight, Gina steers the ship with a practical and seasoned approach. Her professional journey is marked by tenures in Fortune 500 companies, where she honed her skills in navigating the business world. Adding a familial touch to her repertoire, Gina has played a pivotal role in her family's 103-year-old printing business—one of the largest in New England. This dual perspective, spanning both the corporate and entrepreneurial realms, uniquely positions Gina to lead the Angle Center, bringing a wealth of practical wisdom to the forefront. Her commitment to fostering an environment where innovation and business acumen thrive is at the core of her role as the Executive Director and Chair.
