Dr. Matt Heiser serves as Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students. As Vice President of Student Affairs, he is responsible for cultivating vibrant co-curricular learning experiences for Endicott students. He leads the offices and services including the CARE Team, Wellness Center, Residence Life, Community Service, Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution, Student Experience, Student Transitions & Family Programs, and the Callahan Campus Center. Dr. Heiser serves as adjunct faculty for undergraduate and graduate courses.
His doctoral research focused on the experiences of supervisors in reducing burnout among their employees as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which offered implications for institutional Human Resources and Student Affairs leadership.
Dr. Heiser's areas of teaching, training, and research include staff training and development, supervision of working parents and caregivers, first generation college students and professionals, bystander intervention training, student leadership, and student development theory.
