Bryan D. Cain, Ph.D. is a seasoned leader in higher education with a distinguished track record in leading institutional advancement, student affairs, strategic planning, and communications and marketing. As the Executive Vice President of Endicott College, Dr. Cain serves as the senior advisor, chief of staff, and strategic partner to the President, overseeing Board of Trustee relations, Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing, Student Affairs, Special Events, and Title IX compliance.
Dr. Cain has played a transformational role at Endicott College, leading the institution’s first comprehensive, integrated communications and marketing strategy, launching Living Learning Communities, expanding mental health and wellness resources, and overseeing the College’s first $75 million fundraising campaign—surpassing $55 million in record time. His leadership has catalyzed consistent growth in graduate and undergraduate programs, reinforcing Endicott’s position as a top-tier institution.
With a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Endicott College, Dr. Cain’s research focuses on the university president search process, particularly the responsibility of Boards of Trustees in developing a succession plan for institutional leadership. His expertise in strategic resource allocation, governance, and mission-driven growth ensures that Endicott continues to thrive in an evolving higher education landscape.
