For over 30 years, Dr. Amy Stell has been involved in secondary and collegiate education and sport. Dr. Stell has a Master of Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University and a doctorate in Sports Management and Leadership from the United States Sports University.
In 2018, Dr. Stell left secondary education for the University of Texas El Paso, where she was the Assistant Athletic Director of Development. In her role at UTEP, Dr. Stell worked with the entire athletic department from facilities to marketing to compliance to leadership. As the Assistant Athletic Director of Development, she raised scholarship funds for the athletic department and spearheaded sport-specific fundraising efforts for soccer, rifle, and track and field. In addition to fundraising for training tables and scholarships, she was actively involved in fundraising and sales of the stadium capital campaign for the renovated Sun Bowl.
In 2021, Dr. Stell returned to the classroom. She currently teaches at Endicott College in the Graduate Sport Management and Leadership program. Dr. Stell divides her time between El Paso, Texas and Portland, Oregon. She is an avid sports fan and follows US Air Force Falcon Baseball, the UTEP Miners, and the Big XII.
