The three-day, two-night Onboard retreat is led by returning student leaders and is designed to bring incoming students together before the fall semester.
Onboard allows students to create new friendships, address common transitional concerns, and learn about different opportunities at Endicott. Each retreat has a specific focus area that students may already be connected with or want to learn more about. The cost for the retreat is $150.
All Onboard retreats will offer students the opportunity to connect with other students, set personal goals for the fall semester, learn more about the campus community, and have fun! Each theme has different activities throughout the weekend, which are listed below.

What is Onboard?Onboard is an exciting way to begin to discover the experience and transition to Endicott. It is a three-day, two- night retreat led by returning student leaders and is designed to bring incoming students together before the fall semester begins. Onboard will help students create new friendships and address common transitional concerns by making them feel more comfortable and giving a taste of the amazing opportunities that Endicott has to offer.
Why participate in Onboard?
It’s a lot of fun! Bonding, games, outdoor activities, and more! The student leaders are enthusiastic, welcoming, and some of the best people around. They truly care about the incoming students and want to support you. Most importantly, you will create new friendships that will last during your time at Endicott and beyond. You will start school more confident, more prepared, and have a better understanding of life at Endicott.
What are the dates for Onboard?
There are six trips for summer 2019:
July 5– July 7: Outdoor Adventure I: Explore the nature of the North Shore with hiking, kayaking, and paddle- boarding. Additional adventure activities include rock climbing, beach volleyball, a bonfire, and more!
July 12– July 14: Leadership: Grow your leadership skills through various activities including a ropes course, scavenger hunt, values exploration activity, and team challenges.
July 19- July 21: Visual & Performing Arts: Connect with others as you share your creative passions and interests and participate in workshops for dance, drama, pottery, painting, graphic design, and drawing.
July 26– July 28: Health & Wellness: Engage in various health and wellness activities like yoga, nutrition planning, meditation, and stress management to ensure your personal success!
August 2– August 4: Community Service: Learn about the community around us and how you can support and help out with various service opportunities and dialogues throughout the weekend.
August 9– August 11: Outdoor Adventure II: Explore the nature of the North Shore with hiking, kayaking, and paddle-boarding. Additional adventure activities include rock climbing, beach volleyball, a bonfire, and more! Check-in begins at 11a.m. on Friday and the retreat will end by 2 p.m. on Sunday.
How much does it cost? What's included?
The cost for the trip is $150. The trip includes: lodging for two nights on campus, all meals from lunch on day one through lunch on day three, all transportation to activities, trained student leaders to facilitate activities, supplies and equipment needed for the experience.
Is there financial aid available?
Yes! Financial aid is available to students receiving need-based financial aid.
How do I sign up for an Onboard program?
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. The online registration form can be found at: endicott.edu/orientation. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Full payment is due three weeks before your retreat.
I am flying into Boston.How do I get from the airport to Endicott? Endicott will provide transportation from the airport to campus.
I have specific food/health requirements, can I still attend?
Please note any food/health requirements when registering for the trip. Our staff will take into consideration all food/health requirements for each participant and we will do our best to accommodate all needs.
What is your refund policy?Cancellations at least two weeks before the retreat start date will receive a full refund minus the $50 deposit.
