Endicott College hosted an extraordinary week blending history, democracy, and Hollywood creativity. From a fully costumed Thomas Jefferson engaging students in conversations about freedom and civic responsibility, to film music supervisors Patrick and John Houlihan sharing behind-the-scenes insights from 20th Century Studios, students experienced immersive learning from two very different worlds united by storytelling.

Award-winning poet and Endicott College Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing, Brittany Perham, has returned to her hometown of Beverly, Mass., after two decades teaching at Stanford. Now, as she inspires a new generation of writers, she’s also preparing to release her memoir, Executrix, winner of the 2025 Sue William Silverman Prize for Creative Nonfiction.

When graphic design major Emma Sibson ’25 stepped into Stop & Shop’s headquarters in Quincy, Mass., for her senior internship, she expected to strengthen her portfolio. What she didn’t expect was to art-direct a salmon photoshoot, design a cookbook for an entire marketing department, or see her work appear in the same grocery aisles she grew up walking with her family.
