Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch is the Coordinator of Dance, and head coach of the Endicott Dance Team at Endicott College. She is also the professor for multiple dance courses within the Performing Arts Department and the choreographer for the Repertory Dance Ensemble. Nicole earned her Masters of Education in Arts and Learning from Endicott College, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Point Park University, and is currently working on her MFA from Goddard College. Nicole has performed with many dance companies and organizations including, Danny Swain Dance Company of Boston, MA, The Boston Celtics Dance Team, and is currently dancing for, Monkeyhouse, and Quicksilver Dance of Boston, MA.
In addition to her professional dance and teaching career, her recent choreographed shows for Endicott include, Human Nature (EC 2014) a site-specific dance work, LoveNotes (EC 2012), Finelight, (EC, 2011), a dance, art, and video projection collaboration with professor Cynthia Roberts and professor Larry Volk, R.A.W, (EC 2010), dance, and video projection, Swing Song, (EC 2010), dance and chorus concert with Chair of Performing Arts, Rebecca Kenneally, and Life Horizon (EC 2009) a dance and live paint collaboration with professor, Cynthia Roberts. Nicole's choreography for Endicott College's Mainstage Productions include, Wonderful Town (EC 2014) Annie Get Your Gun (EC 2013), Cabaret (EC 2012), Pippin (EC 2010), and Carnival! (EC 2009).
Lastly, Nicole's achievements for the Dance Team include, 6 regional titles from the New England Dance Championships collegiate competition, placement of 6th, 8th, 14th, and 15th in the nation in at the National Dance Team Championship, in Orlando, Florida.
