Kevin Rooney
Biographical Profile
Kevin Rooney began his Endicott career as an Athletic Trainer in 2005. Since this time, his passion for athletics, athletic training and education landed him in the position of Program Director of Exercise Science and Clinical Coordinator of Athletic Training and Exercise Science. A graduate of Quinnipiac University, Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with a specialty in Athletic Training. He went on to graduate with distinction from California University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training. Shortly thereafter, Kevin would also pursue and graduate from Lesley University with a Ph.D in Educational Studies with a focus on Adult Learning. Kevin is a certified and licensed member of both the National Athletic Trainers™ Association and the Massachusetts Athletic Trainers Association. He also holds a certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Lastly, Kevin is the director of a recreational exercise program in collaboration with Life Choices, a local program for adults with mental and physical disabilities. This program has developed a great community connection while providing Endicott students the unique opportunity to work with a distinct population of adults.
