At Endicott, Professor Caruso teaches introductory and upper-level courses in accounting including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Taxation, Legal Environment for the Business Manager as well as semester internship and thesis courses. Professor Caruso has also taught several courses in the graduate Van Loan online MBA progam.
Prior to joining Endicott in 2010, Professor Caruso practiced as a corporate/securities attorney for two public companies and as an associate at Mintz Levin in Boston. Prior to law school, Professor Caruso was a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen LLP in Boston. She has extensive teaching experience including adjunct roles at the University of Virginia, New England School of Law, Emmanuel College and SNHU.
Professor Caruso earned a BS in Commerce (Finance) and MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia and a JD from Boston College Law School. She is a Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant and a licensed attorney in Massachusetts. Professor Caruso is a member of the American Accounting Association and the Academy of Legal Studies in Business.
