Video DescriptionOn a daily basis, Endicott students in collaboration with Endicott Dining, Sustainability, and Community Service delivers on average 46 trays of food to the River House Homeless Shelter.
We never ever throw away any food.
[Paul Belski] There's so many opportunities in our own
neighborhood to donate that food.
We really have a commitment to
not wasting food.
It's important from a financial standpoint and
it's also, you know, the right thing to do.
[Maddie] Thank you! Thank you so much.
I'm Maddie Dourdoufis.
I'm a freshman here at Endicott College.
I was going through my emails and I saw this
email about food delivery system for the
River House in Beverly and I was like
'I have my car on campus might as well
just do it.'
[There's a lot of food.]
[We're going to have to ask for help.]
[Maddie] I think that the River House food delivery
is very important.
It helps the community and it really helps
the River House in, you know,
getting these people back on track.
