Scholarship Opportunities for Single Parents—Van Loan School of Professional Studies

Read Time: min

Current students enrolled in the undergraduate program through Endicott College’s Van Loan School of Professional Studies, who are single parents—of children 16 years or younger—are now eligible to apply for one of the College’s single parent scholarships.

To be considered, you will need to complete your financial aid application (such as the Financial Aid Application Form and the FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need.

“The financial aid award years start with summer and go through spring,” says Joelle Fabrizio, Assistant Director of Financial Aid. “Starting with the Summer 2021 semester, we will consider students for funding through the 2021–22 academic year, being Summer '21, Fall '21, and Spring '22.”

If awarded, the scholarship will be applied toward two consecutive semesters. Students can reapply year-after-year, but need to have at least two semesters remaining.

“Education is like a breath of fresh air, the more I learn, the more I have to offer, and the more I can teach to others.” —Shery Lainghall ’21, recipient of the Mary Thompson Grassi '72 Scholarship

Students who apply will be considered for one of the following scholarships.

General Magnaplate and Candida '72 & Edmund Aversenti Scholarship
Diane Meyers Halle ’62 Scholarship
Holland & Knight Scholarship
