Aaron Morrison Appointed Vice President for Human Resources
An established human resources leader and practitioner in higher education, Morrison most recently served as Assistant Vice President of Benefits, Payroll, and Human Resources Information Systems at Simmons University in Boston. During his time at Simmons, he led efforts to overhaul the performance management process, refocusing it on coaching and professional development and integrating performance discussions throughout the year. He is also credited with successfully reducing health plan costs while adding valuable benefits to the plans.
“Aaron brings distinguished background in both human resources and the law,” says Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D., President of Endicott College. “He was a practicing attorney before finding his passion in human resources.”
Upon accepting the role, Morrison shared the following: “Endicott College is no longer a hidden gem on the North Shore, but truly is a destination for talented staff and faculty. I look forward to working with Dr. DiSalvo, the Board of Trustees, and all members of the Endicott community to achieve a strategic vision for the college. I am excited to build on the strong foundation built by the entire human resources team.”
Morrison is a graduate of Boston University and holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. He lives in Wayland, Mass., and has three children, the oldest of whom begins college this fall.
