Endicott College is proud to announce Evan E. Lipp as the new Vice President of Admission and Financial Aid, beginning July 1. Current Vice President of Admission and Financial Aid Thomas Redman will work closely with Lipp to transition the role over a period of time.
Lipp comes to Endicott from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, where he is the Vice President of Enrollment Management. His experience focusing on prospective student engagement opportunities will be instrumental in ensuring a strong student population at Endicott for years to come, continuing a longstanding tradition at the College. In his current role, Lipp excels in identifying new student populations and international student recruitment, and his experience will enhance Endicott’s continued search for new Gulls.
“Evan is a strategic planner with a focus on the prospective student mindset – something we think Endicott can really benefit from,” said Dr. Richard Wylie, President, and Cynthia Merkle, Chair of Endicott’s Board of Trustees, in a joint prepared statement. “We are excited to move into a new phase of recruitment that focuses on sharing the benefit of an Endicott education with even more prospective students. Having Evan on board to lead recruitment, financial aid, and athletics efforts will be key.”
Thomas Redman came to Endicott in 1992 from Becker College in Worcester, MA. Over his 26 years at the College, he has played a significant role in Endicott’s evolution from a small two-year women’s institution into a four-year college with a strong D-III athletic program. In his time here, applications for admission have increased fivefold, and the overall quality of the student population has improved, ensuring Endicott’s continued success in a time of great change for higher education.
