Sara Lewis is an Evolutionary Ecologist and a Professor at Tufts University. She did her undergraduate work at Harvard College, and her doctorate at Duke University. Her lab’s work includes the evolutionary processes and pressures on sexual selection, and also examples of community and behavioral ecology, including predator/prey as seen in herbivore-plant interactions, and the evolution of defenses by prey in marine environments. In addition to an extensive professional publication list, Dr. Lewis has written a book for the general public entitled ‘Silent Sparks’, which currently has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon, and she has given a TED talk at the 2014 conference on Technology, Education, Design.
