Remembering Dr. Richard E. Wylie in Legacy and Scholarship
On May 12, 2018 the Endicott College community was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of college president Dr. Richard E. Wylie. A campus memorial service for Dr. Wylie was held on October 19, 2018. The service was held at the MacDonald Gymnasium, inside the Helen and Richard Post Center.
Endicott College has created the Dr. Richard E. Wylie Memorial Scholarship Fund in his honor. This scholarship will live in perpetuity in Dr. Wylie’s memory, and it will be awarded annually to deserving Endicott students. Class of 2020 members, Kenny Tuttle and Julie Champigny, were carefully selected as the 2018 scholarship recipients based on their enthusiasm for positive, impactful, change in the community—reflecting the core values that embodied our longtime president. Students applying for enrollment into the Class of 2023 will be the first new students eligible for this scholarship.
