Cathleen Colleran has been in academia for the last 14 years teaching nursing students at all levels. Dr. Colleran was the president of American Nurses Association Massachusetts and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau, Theta Chapter, International Honor Society of Nursing. She recently presented her work with undergraduate nursing students on Caring Science at the International Association of Human Caring conference in South Carolina.

Awards and Accomplishments
Dr. Colleran is a Caritas Coach through the Watson Caring Science Institute, a Leadership for Academic Nursing Program (LANP) Fellow, 2014, and a Health Information Technology Scholars (HITS) Faculty Scholar, 2009. Dr. Colleran was inducted into the Husson University Alumni Hall of Fame in 2010 and received the 2010 Foundation of National Student Nurses Association, Promise of Nursing Regional Faculty Fellowship. She also received the 2016 Massachusetts Rhode Island League of Nurses (MARILN) Faculty Award.
