The Writing Center is comprised of professional and peer tutors who are ready to make your work the best it can be. Our professional staff works with faculty and staff in the classroom, provides mentoring the peer tutoring program, and conducts writing workshops. Peer tutors are experienced student writers from a variety of majors who have been certified by the College Reading and Learning Association.
Certified Peer Tutors
The Endicott College Writing Center employs around 12 peer tutors each semester. These tutors come from a variety of majors and have earned a GPA of 3.2 or above, with at least a B in writing designated courses across the College. In addition, tutors are trained and certified following the guidelines of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
The Endicott College Writing Center employs professional tutors in addition to peer tutors. These tutors come from a variety of academic disciplines, industries, and professional writing environments, and have excellent credentials within their fields.
Interested in becoming a peer writing tutor?
New tutors are hired based an application, writing sample, and interview process which occurs around Fall or Spring break, respectively. Tutors are hired in accordance with the demands of the Writing Center.
