Certified Peer Tutors

The Endicott College Tutoring Center employs around 50 peer tutors each semester. These tutors come from a variety of majors, and are representative of the 8 academic schools at Endicott College. All of our tutors have a GPA of 3.0 or above, and have earned at least a B in the courses for which they tutor. As engaged, curious, and active learners, our tutors often have academic interests outside the realm of their major. Tutors are encouraged to provide tutoring for any course in which they have met these requirements, even if the course is outside of the tutor’s major. In addition, tutors are trained and certified following the guidelines of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). We do our best to match students with a peer tutor who has taken the subject with the same professor as the student.

Professional Tutors

The Endicott College Tutoring Center employs professional tutors in addition to peer tutors. These tutors come from a variety of academic disciplines, and have excellent credentials within their fields. Each professional tutor has a specialty subject area, such as Biology, Nursing, Statistics or Interior Design. Professional tutors may not be available in all subject areas; they are hired at the discretion of the Director in accordance with the demands of the Tutoring Center.
