While we make every effort to continue normal operations, some circumstances dictate that Endicott close due to inclement weather.
Inclement Weather and Cancellation Procedures
Endicott Direct Weather Line
The Endicott Direct Weather Line is 978-232-2300 – or from a campus phone, simply dial ext. 2300. The Weather Line will update a recorded message announcing closing information beginning at 5:30 a.m. the day of the inclement weather.
Undergraduate College Cancellation Policy
Announcements of a College closing or delay are made on WBZ (Channel 4), WCVB (Channel 5), WHDH (Channel 7), and WFXT (Fox 25) beginning at 7 a.m. Closing and delay announcements are also posted on the home page of the College website, sent via campus e-mail, and sent through SMS text messages via EC Alerts. During imminent or current foul weather events, the call volume for the Public Safety Department increases greatly; we kindly ask that you do not call Public Safety to ask if school is cancelled, and instead please check one of the aforementioned venues (television news station, foul weather line, campus e-mail, website, or EC Alert messages).
Van Loan School Cancellation Policy
The Van Loan School determines cancellation of classes by 2 p.m. the day of inclement weather. Classes are not automatically canceled if the undergraduate school cancels classes. Call lists are typically developed by individual instructors regarding canceling classes. However, students are urged to call the College's Weather Line: 978-232-2300.
Snow Removal Procedures
Instructions for what to do during the snow removal process will be posted on the website and shared via campus email during a Snow Emergency.
