TitleWriting Graduate Tutor
Hours10-15 per week
This position provides writing tutorial instruction to Endicott undergraduate and graduate students. Ability to work evenings and weekends is required. The Graduate Tutor will work in the Writing Center, where the individual will provide support in at any stage of the writing process.
The Graduate Tutor will meet one-on-one or in small groups with undergraduate and graduate students to help them brainstorm, prepare for presentations, and practice writing skills. The Graduate Tutor must be a good listener and skilled communicator, who can facilitate a discussion with students about their writing process. The applicant must have knowledge surrounding grammar, citation styles, and sentence structure as well.
The Graduate Tutor will offer between 10-15 hours per week of face-to-face writing support for the semester.
A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or someone who has been out of college for up to 2 years.
Ability to work evenings and weekends is required.
