This position provides tutorial instruction to Endicott undergraduate and graduate students in science, technology, engineering and math content. This position begins at 15 hours per week with the opportunity for increased hours based upon performance, availability, and need. Ability to work evenings and weekends required.
Tutors meet one-on-one or in small groups with undergraduate and graduate students to help them understand content, brainstorm ideas, prepare for tests, and practice study skills.  
Tutors must be good listeners and skilled communicators who can facilitate a discussion with students about their course work.  
Tutors do not complete assignments, but they do help students identify their area of weakness.  
Tutors need a solid understanding of the various learning styles and disabilities among college students.


Master’s degree preferred.  
Previous experience tutoring in a college-level tutoring center required. 
Previous experience tutoring calculus, statistics, chemistry, biology, engineering etc. in a college-level tutoring center required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational and customer service skills; high degree of technological knowledge.
