The integrated marketing coordinator is charged with coordinating a number of centrally and decentrally managed social media accounts and supporting the strategic initiatives and projects established by College Communication and Marketing.  The coordinator will assist in the development and maintenance of related web content, podcasting and video needs, trending social networking sites and platforms and will be responsible for compiling comprehensive analytics and reports. The coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment while delivering multiple projects on schedule, on budget and with no errors. Responsibilities include:
 
1. Implement social media strategies across multiple platforms that build brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, and promote engagement
2. Mine and create content which tells the college’s story and meets the its brand standards
3. Stay current with social media trends and best practices
4. Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and select and adapt to processes to fit the needs of new trends
5. Review and approve content on a daily basis
6. Manage a personal schedule in accordance with the college’s need (some weekend and evenings may be required)
 

Qualifications

Bachelor’ degree in an appropriate field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Strong understanding of and experience with social media platforms, preferably in a higher education setting.
Excellent writing skills in various communications formats.
Excellent organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products like Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Able to work well independently and take initiative on new projects.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
Commitment to excellence. 
Ability to work well with a diversity of personalities.
Must be able to work evening and weekend hours as needed and assigned; must have a car and a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and travel as assigned.
