Description

The Instructional Designer for the undergraduate program needs  a clear understanding of higher education, adult pedagogy and experiential learning. This individual should be comfortable listening to faculty and co-developing rigorous, engaging and multimedia courses. The instructional designer should be able to articulate the online pedagogical tools available to faculty to facilitate excitement about teaching in their content expertise.

This individual’s feedback will be instrumental in developing processes to scale the existing online program. The ideal instructional designer will be able to facilitate group learning of faculty in addition to working with them individually.  


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Application Programming, Instructional Design, Educational Technology/Media, Training and Development or relevant field in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related area; master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in designing and developing online learning programs.
