Description

Entry level position assisting with various Human Resources functions, including clerical and support duties for the department. Responsibilities include:
1. Serves as first point of contact to greet visitors to the Human Resources office.
2. Maintain office files and filing.
3. Track and verify required training completions.
4. Enter employee data into HR databases.
5. Audit employee files to ensure that required documentation is completed and maintained.
6. Process background checks on new employees 
7. Create and circulate bi-weekly time sheet
8. Distribute and track 3-month performance evaluations to supervisors 
9. Log and track employee annual performance reviews.
10. Assist applicants and respond to employment inquiries
11. Assist with HR events such as the Benefit Fair, Holiday Party, and Orientation.
12. Performs other duties and serves as backup as required to meet the needs of the department and the College.
 

Qualifications

Bachelor degree preferred.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google docs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality essential
Willingness to be flexible
Excellent customer service attitude.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team and independently.
