  1. Collect new employee paperwork.
  2. Send training links to new employees. Track and verify completion.
  3. E-Verify new employees and maintain E-Verify files.
  4. Ensure reference checks are completed.
  5. Enter employee data into HR databases.
  6. Provide backup for data entry of new hires on ADP.
  7. Audit employee files to ensure that required documentation is completed and maintained.
  8. Assist with the hiring process when necessary.
  9. Distribute and track 3-month performance evaluations to supervisors.
  10. Log and track employee annual performance reviews.
  11. Track and update leave of absences.
  12. Respond to employee questions.
  13. Process incoming mail
  14. File HR paperwork in a timely manner.
  15. Create and distribute documents
  16. Compile and prepare reports and spreadsheets.
  17. Assist with HR events such as the Benefit Fair, Holiday Party, and Orientation.
  18. Performs other duties as required to meet the needs of the department and the College.


  • Bachelor degree

  • Office experience in a busy office required

  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel required

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality essential

  • Willingness to be flexible

  • Excellent customer service attitude.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills       

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.

  • Familiar with applicant tracking database systems an asset.
