Description

Responsible for assessment activities of Van Loan directors including external reviews, outcome assessment and various student surveys.  Also responsible for assisting with teacher licensing documentation, out-of-state regulatory proposals, adjunct faculty training and development, documenting student issues, and production of student and adjunct faculty handbooks.
 
Responsibilities include:
Teach four courses per calendar year.
Assist Associate Provost with recommending, implementing, and administering ongoing assessment methods and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency for the School, programs and courses.
Coordinate internal and external communication of assessment results.
Record, store, manage, and disseminate confidential and sensitive assessment data, as appropriate.
Assist Associate Provost in external review process and matters related to professional accreditations, recommending and participating in the development of college policy and procedures in School and College handbooks and other resources.
Assist Associate Dean of Graduate Education programs in documentation required for state licensing programs.
Assist Associate Provost in organizing with program directors adjunct faculty training and development.
Assist Associate Provost in developing a schedule of student surveys required for assessment of programs and career information.
Assist Associate Provost producing documents required for compliances required for out-of-state regulations.
Organize written documentation for student issues requiring Associate Provost intervention.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

An earned doctorate is preferred; master’s degree required.
Experience with graduate education and programs for adults
Excellent organizational and writing skills
Up-to-date knowledge and experience in program evaluation and assessment; experience at the graduate level preferred.
Ability to work well with fellow professionals.
