a. Monitor the integrity of the data relied upon by Van Loan and the Endicott Community; perform data validations and analysis using database reports, troubleshoot issues and work with the appropriate staff to recommend and implement solutions to enforce data standards.  
b. Monitor and update the necessary database tables and sources of data that are used for Van Loan processes and applications.
c. Examine business processes between the Van Loan functional areas and propose relevant solutions to business problems.
d. Develop new reports and modify existing reports to coincide with business standards:
Support Van Loan Associate Provost, Management and Program Directors by providing standard and ad-hoc reports as needed.
Support users in other Endicott divisions (Institutional Research, Financial Aid, Director of Student Licensure, Human Resources) by providing reports and analysis when needed.
Works with other Van Loan staff members (Bursar, Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid) to develop reports to support business goals and objectives. 
e. Become proficient in the use of the Jenzabar CX software, JICS and Cognos reporting tool in order to enhance business functions.
f. Work with Endicott’s Information Technology to participate in the development, testing, implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
g. Assist in troubleshooting problems with user credentials for Van Loan students.
h. Other duties as assigned
Additionally, this person must also be able to provide technical support for the continued development and maintenance of the Van Loan Online Application and Registration system, working closely with the Van Loan Admissions staff and Registrar to troubleshoot issues with student access and use.


B.S. in Computer Science preferred.  
Minimum of two years of proven experience in development, production and maintenance of the dynamic, complex, multi-user application.  
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly developed analytic and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced functional and technical team environment.
Previous background in database concepts and/or Higher Education experience highly desirable
