The School of Nursing at Endicott College invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in the area of Maternal/Newborn Nursing. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach their area of expertise in our prelicensure program. We are interested in hiring dynamic faculty who have experience in active teaching/learning strategies, a strong interest in educational excellence, and innovation to prepare nurses of the future.

The mission of the Endicott College School of Nursing is to prepare graduates to practice in a complex and ever-changing healthcare environment. Our pre-licensure program currently serves over 350 students.  In addition to our prelicensure program, our Van Loan School offers a Master of Science program with four concentration options as well as post-master certificate programs and a PhD in Nursing program. The SON faculty includes outstanding educators and researchers in nursing.

§    Teaches courses in Baccalaureate Nursing program in accordance with professional standards and accreditation requirements.

§    Advises and mentors students.

§    Participates in course development and implementation.

§    Evaluates teaching/learning activities

§    Demonstrates evidence of scholarship

§    Demonstrates evidence of service including participation in department and college-wide events

§    Participates in governance including the Baccalaureate Faculty Committee, Baccalaureate Curriculum Committee and other committees as appointed 


  • Doctorate in Nursing or a related field is preferred
  • Master in Nursing degree required
  • Must have or be eligible for RN licensure in Massachusetts
  • Hold at least one graduate degree in nursing in the area of specialization required for the faculty appointment and/or 3-5 years of experience in the related field of nursing
  • Prior teaching experience in a Baccalaureate nursing program desired
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to college age students
  • Commitment to scholarship appropriate with rank
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
