The School of Nursing at Endicott College invites applicants for a part-time adjunct clinical faculty position in the area of Maternal/Newborn Nursing. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach their area of expertise in our prelicensure program in the clinical setting. We are interested in hiring dynamic faculty who have a strong interest in educational excellence, and innovation to prepare nurses of the future. Prior experience with clinical teaching is preferred but not required.
 
The mission of the Endicott College School of Nursing is to prepare graduates to practice in a complex and ever-changing healthcare environment. Our pre-licensure program currently serves over 350 students.  In addition to our prelicensure program, our Van Loan School offers a Master of Science program with four concentration options as well as post-master certificate programs and a PhD in Nursing program. The SON faculty includes outstanding educators and researchers in nursing. 
 
Responsibilities include:
 Teaches the clinical component of the Maternal/Newborn course in the hospital setting in the Baccalaureate Nursing program in accordance with professional standards and accreditation requirements of the college and the facility.
 Participates in pre and post conference with students
 Evaluates teaching/learning activities
 Participates in adjunct faculty orientation activities

Qualifications

Master’s in Nursing preferred
Must have or be eligible for RN licensure in Massachusetts
Prior teaching experience in a Baccalaureate nursing program desired
Demonstrated ability to relate to college age students
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
