Brendan Cronin and Cheffin’: From Potatoes to Caviar
Endicott’s Brendan Cronin, Operations Manager and Assistant Professor in the Hospitality Management program, is known on campus for not only his culinary abilities, but his enthusiasm for teaching the finer points of hospitality and restaurant services. Brendan also recently released his first book – half memoir, half cookbook, Cheffin’: From Potatoes to Caviar takes readers on a journey through Chef Cronin’s life, beginning in Ireland and roaming through kitchens worldwide. Endicott Goes Green! (and no, we don’t mean for St. Patrick’s day!)
Last week, we launched another thoughtful exhibit in the Halle Library Archive & Museum Gallery. Curated by Archives Director Barbara Broudo, with assistance from Office of Sustainability Director Sarah Creighton, Endicott Goes Green looks at how the College operates in an environmentally responsible manner and what steps we take to incorporate sustainability into our students’ academic and residential experience. How Fast Can Gulls Run? EC in the Boston Marathon!
This year, Endicott College has been presented with an exciting opportunity that is the first of its kind for the College. The John Hancock Boston Marathon Non-Profit Program has awarded Endicott with three guaranteed entries into the historic Boston Marathon! As part of the marathon sponsorship each year, John Hancock provides local non-profit organizations with entries into the race, which can help create a significant fundraising opportunity and great exposure for a non-profit cause. It’s move-in weekend! Looking ahead at the academic year
Tuesday September 4 is the first day of classes of our new academic year. Today all new students are moving in and getting settled, and they’ll have two days of orientation and fun events before returning students join us on Monday.
