Charlotte Gordon is an Assistant Professor of English and holds a M.A. in Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in Literature from Boston University, where her teachers included former Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky and Nobel Prize winners Derek Walcott and Elie Weisel. She received her B.A. in English from Harvard/Radcliffe College. Among her publications are two collections of poetry and a biography of the poet Anne Bradstreet. Prior to coming to Endicott, Dr. Gordon taught at Boston University and at the Waring School, where she also served as the Director of the Writing Program and the Theater Director.

Dr. Charlotte Gordon's area of expertise includes: Early American history and literature, particularly Salem, Beverly, and Boston; Anne Bradstreet; women writers; non-fiction writing; American religion; The Bible; Jewish/Islamic/Christian relations; the Middle East; Women in the Bible; Mary Shelley; Mary Wollstonecraft; and 18th and 19th century British. women's literature.
