Rodeena Porter, Associate Professor

Deenie Porter, MS, RN-BC, APRN is an Associate Professor at Endicott in the Nursing Department. She teaches in the areas of Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Nursing Leadership/Management. Her credentials include national certification to practice adult psychotherapy as a Nurse Clinical Specialist in Mental Health, a MS in Psychiatric Nursing from Rutgers University and a BS in Nursing from Boston University. Before coming to Endicott, Professor Porter taught at Boston University in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing program. She has specialized in providing mental health services in the community and hospital setting for twenty seven years. Professor Porter authored worksheets to accompany two text books in Psychiatric Nursing that were published by Mosby Publishing Company. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau the International Nursing Honor Society.
