Title: Administrative Assistant --- Retention Database Administrator

Hours: 9-5, M-F
Description: Maintains all retention/graduation databases; designs new databases and maintains integrity. Designs batches and reports to extract information from campus-wide databases to analyze enrollment, retention and graduation trends. Serves as first point of contact for office. Answers phones and greets students, faculty, staff and families. Sets and maintains appointment schedule of Vice President. Performs all office clerical duties, including but not limited to filing, data entry, ordering supplies, mailings, maintaining current information logs and organizing office functions. Assists the Vice President with individual concerns, academic planning and appropriate referrals. Assists the Vice President in researching higher education trends and recommending policies and procedures regarding enrollment, retention and graduation efforts at the College. Assists the Vice President with preparation of presentations and reports. Provides support to the Vice President in maintaining and working with Retention Management Software. Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the College.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree; excellent verbal and writing skills; thorough knowledge of Office Suite products; experience with integrated databases; knowledge and/or ability to learn Jenzabar administrative software; ability to attend to detail; good organizational skills; initiative to take on new tasks; ability to understand curriculum; ability to work flexible hours as required.
