Responsible for teaching the rowing stroke and fostering growth in novice and walk on rowers; focuses on the technical development of the rowing stroke for the fall season with racing competency and training progressing through the winter and spring seasons; under direction of the Head Coach, sets and develops goals for the team, creates a plan that works within the team philosophy and works with rowers to achieve these goals; runs 4-5 practices a week during the fall season and 6 in the spring championship season – practices generally run between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. as well as Saturday mornings.
Bachelor degree; ability to travel to races; collegiate rowing experience and current CPR Certification.
