The Fine Arts Department at Endicott College is currently looking for a 3-Dimensional Design and a Clay Adjunct Instructor(s) to teach within the BFA program. Adjunct(s) hired will have the ability to teach courses including 3-Dimensional Design and all levels of Ceramics. The Ceramic Instructor will have the ability to teach wheel throwing, hand building, glaze mixing, and firing. Preference will be given to artists who have experience with Glass Fusing and Slumping, including the fusing of photographic imagery.
Adjunct instructor(s) must maintain the 3D sculpture and/or clay studio including all equipment and safety issues regarding the studio. Other duties include, wheel maintenance and firing of clay artwork.
The instructor will deliver coursework in order to fulfill the learning outcomes within each course syllabus, which is provided by the Fine Arts Department. The instructor will recommend textbooks and other instructional material and/or equipment to the Chair of Fine Arts.
